"Bill Moyers has always been one of my favorite journalists because of his insight, articulation of ideas, and his values. So I was also very glad to be in the audience.

Thank you so much (Ms. Ng) for donating the tickets to hear Bill Moyers to several of the high school seniors in my US Government class. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to get an inside look into the world of politics that they are learning about in my class. As we walked out, one student said the lecture was “fantastic.” Another said that she was amazed that over and over again he talked about things that I have brought up in class or were covered in our textbook. For the whole drive home, we talked about the proper role of the government and what concerned citizens can do about abuses of power. These students are future voters and taxpayers (and maybe even political leaders) and on their behalf I thank you for the part you played in turning them on to our government."
